Teumzghi F. Mebrahtu (MIHMEP, MSc, PhD)
Dr Teumzghi Mebrahtu is an Epidemiologist with a medical background and training & solid understaning of economic evaluation methods including cost-of-illness, cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit, and cost-utility analyses. He studied Public Health and clinical Sciences (equivalent to first degree in Medicine) for five years before obtaining his MSc degree in international healthcare management, economics and policy. He then gained his MSc and PhD degrees in statistical epidemiology from the School of Medicine, University of Leeds.
With over a decade of experience in evidence synthesis, real-world data (RWD) analytics, and causal inference methods, he brings methodological rigor and applied expertise to every project. Through comprehensive academic and professional training, he has built a strong foundation in advanced Evidence generation and Evidence synthesis methodologies. Having worked with leading UK institutions such as the University of Leeds, University of York, and the NHS, he helps organisations transform complex health data into actionable insights for research and policy.
His mission is to deliver reproducible, regulatory-grade evidence and pragmatic statistical advice to academic, health system, and industry partners.
